New, disturbing research indicates that the developing adolescent brain may be particularly
susceptible to long-term negative consequences from alcohol use.
Across the Nation, youth are leading efforts to mobilize their communities to prevent
underage alcohol use. In response to The Surgeon General's Call to Action To Prevent
and Reduce Underage Drinking, youth are working together with teachers,
parents, and other adults to organize and conduct Town Hall Meetings.

the brain affect everything from emerging sexuality to emotionality and judgment.
